Welcome to Electric Photoland—Spokane's best photo booth and interactive event photography agency! Family-owned and proudly founded by Idaho natives, we're passionate about capturing your life's most vibrant moments and delivering them beautifully to the people who matter most.
The Founders
Our story began long before we officially launched in 2019. It all started with our founder, Ashley, whose elementary school obsession with photography had her spending every bit of her allowance on developing photos and prints to share with friends. Today, we're still guided by that same vision—taking stunning photos of life's key memories and sharing them on a much larger scale.
Our technical edge comes from co-founder Dylan, who brings extensive experience as a software engineer. A proud University of Idaho Computer Science graduate, Dylan has been writing code since he was just 13. Currently, he specializes in developing shoot-and-share photo processing software used by renowned photo booth innovators Smilebooth and software leader Photo Engineers.
The (Short) Story
We began in 2019 running this small businesses out of our house. With one photo booth, we started to figure out who we were and what was important to us in this industry. We quickly realized how important being active community partners was, and this is just as important to us today as it was back then.
In 2021, we moved from Dylan and Ashley's home office to our downtown studio located in the old Interplayer's Theater building on South Howard Street in Spokane. Our studio allows us to operate at a high level and get super creative! At this time, Dylan's sister and our Creative Director, Mary, joined the team full time. Her eye and creativity shapes everything we do.
In just the last few years, we have grown our team from just the two of us to a core team of 6 and a team of amazing attendants!
